The HEICO-LOCK® Wedge Lock Nut joins a property class 10 nut and an original HEICO-LOCK® wedge lock washer pair in one captive part. The washers can rotate on the nut, so they seat correctly, yet they can never be lost or forgotten.
One part instead of three means less to stock, less to handle and no wrong assembly: the washers are always in the right position. That makes the nut ideal for hard-to-reach places and for fitters who are not bolting specialists.
It locks by the wedge principle, so the joint stays tight even under extreme vibration and dynamic loads. The nut can be re-used. Stainless versions are available in M8, M10, M12 and M16, and fine-thread versions serve as wheel nuts.
