Anchoring Bolt Installation

Our trained team installs anchor bolts for structural steel, machines and services. Every anchor is drilled, cleaned and set exactly as the Fischer installation instructions say, because most anchor failures come from installation, not the product.

What we do

  • Marking out from drawings or a template, with spacing and edge distances checked
  • Drilling to the correct diameter and depth with hammer or diamond drills
  • Hole cleaning (blow, brush, blow) before chemical anchors
  • Setting wedge, sleeve, drop-in and chemical anchors to the installation torque with a calibrated torque wrench
  • Foundation and holding-down bolts for machines, columns, base plates and pipe racks
  • Façade, cable tray, duct and pipe support anchoring, including overhead work
  • Installation record: location, anchor type, size, embedment and torque

You get

  • Anchors set to specification
  • Installation record sheet
  • Option of pull-out testing

The right anchor, size and embedment for your load and base material.

Anchor Selection

Choosing an anchor is an engineering decision. We look at what you are fixing, what you are fixing into and the conditions on site, then recommend an approved anchor with the size, depth and number needed.

What we do

  • Base material: cracked or non-cracked concrete, masonry, hollow brick or block
  • Loads: tension, shear, combined, dynamic, seismic and fatigue
  • Geometry: member thickness, edge distance and anchor spacing
  • Environment: indoor, outdoor, coastal or chemical; zinc-plated, hot-dip galvanised, A4 or high-corrosion-resistant steel
  • Fire resistance and temperature needs
  • Site conditions: wet or water-filled holes, overhead work, curing time and access
  • Comparison of mechanical and chemical options on cost and speed

You get

  • Recommended anchor and size
  • Embedment depth and quantity
  • Calculation report where required

Post-installed rebar connections for extensions and retrofits.

Rebar Anchoring

Post-installed rebar lets you connect new concrete to old as if the bars had been cast in. It is used for slab and floor extensions, new columns, walls, staircases and strengthening. We plan, drill and install the bars with Fischer injection mortars.

What we do

  • Check of bar diameter, spacing and anchorage length with your structural engineer (to the approved rebar design method)
  • Starter bars for column, wall, beam and slab extensions
  • Accurate drilling to depth, with drill guides on long bars
  • Thorough hole cleaning, then injection from the bottom of the hole without air pockets
  • Bar insertion with a twisting action and correct curing time before loading
  • Roughening of the old concrete face to improve the bond to the new pour
  • Work record with bar sizes, depths and mortar batch numbers

You get

  • Bars ready for the new pour
  • Work record with batch numbers
  • Option of pull-out testing

Injection of rebars and threaded rods with Fischer chemical mortars.

Rebar Chemical Grouting

Chemical grouting fixes rebars, anchor rods and bolts in drilled holes with a high-strength injection mortar. It works close to edges and in tight spacing, where expansion anchors could crack the concrete.

What we do

  • Mortar choice: epoxy (FIS EM Plus) for heavy and long-term loads; vinylester (FIS V Plus) for fast curing
  • Grouting of rebars, threaded rods, anchor bolts and foundation bolts
  • Holes in dry, wet or water-filled concrete, using the right method for each
  • Fischer dispensers, mixers, extension tubes and piston plugs for deep holes
  • Correct gel and curing times for the site temperature
  • Neat finish with no wasted mortar, and clean-up after work

You get

  • Fully filled holes
  • Rods and bars ready to load after curing
  • Record of mortar used

Controlled breaking and chipping, done carefully.

Concrete Breaking

We break concrete where a change is needed, while protecting the structure around it and the reinforcement you want to keep.

What we do

  • Openings in slabs and walls for doors, shafts and equipment
  • Removal of old foundations, plinths and machine bases
  • Chipping of damaged or spalled concrete to sound material
  • Exposing reinforcement for lapping, extension or repair
  • Surface roughening before new concrete or grout
  • Dust and debris control, and removal of the debris

You get

  • Clean, square openings
  • Rebar kept intact where required
  • Site left clean

On-site load tests that prove your anchors are safe.

Pull-out Testing

A pull-out test loads an installed anchor or rebar in tension with a calibrated hydraulic tester. It confirms the installation and the base material on your site, and many consultants and clients ask for it before handover.

What we do

  • Proof-load (non-destructive) tests on working anchors to the load your consultant specifies
  • Tests to failure on sacrificial anchors to find the real capacity of the base material
  • Testing of mechanical anchors, chemical anchors and post-installed rebar
  • Calibrated hydraulic pull-out tester with a load gauge
  • Load held for the specified time, and any slip or failure recorded
  • Test report with location, anchor details, applied load, result and photographs

You get

  • Signed test report
  • Photographs of each test
  • Recommendation if any anchor fails

Diamond core drilling for clean, round openings.

Core Cutting

Diamond core cutting makes clean round holes through concrete, brick and stone with low vibration and no hammering, so the structure is not damaged.

What we do

  • Openings for pipes, drains, cables, ducts and HVAC through walls and slabs
  • Holes in a range of diameters and depths to suit your services
  • Wet cutting with low noise, vibration and dust
  • Wall, floor and overhead drilling with a stand-mounted rig
  • Positions agreed with your engineer to avoid main reinforcement
  • Core samples taken for concrete strength testing when needed

You get

  • Clean, accurate openings
  • Cores removed from site
  • Minimal disturbance to the structure

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you only supply, or also install?

Both. You can buy Fischer products from us, or ask our team to select, install and test them on your site.

Why does hole cleaning matter so much?

Dust left in a drilled hole stops a chemical anchor bonding to the concrete and can greatly reduce its load capacity. That is why we always clean holes as Fischer specifies.

Mechanical or chemical anchor: which is better?

Mechanical anchors are fast and can be loaded at once. Chemical anchors carry higher loads, work close to edges and in tight spacing, and seal the hole. We recommend one after looking at your loads and site.

Can you test anchors that someone else installed?

Yes. Pull-out testing is a good way to check old or doubtful anchors before they are relied on.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Vadodara and work on sites across Gujarat. For other locations, contact us with the project details.
